"Wingfield Barns is a new arts centre in rural Suffolk. Towards the end of 2009 I agreed to arrange a series of 6 concerts for the Barns in 2010 and on 13th June the Tyburn Quartet thrilled us with their performances of Haydn op. 76 no. 2, the Quartettsatz by Schubert and Beethoven`s op. 59 no. 1. They played this demanding programme with great technical skill, but it was their ability to communicate through phrasing and dynamics which moved the audience. I`m sure this quartet has a bright future."Adrian Knott MBE
"The Tyburn Quartet played splendidly (fronting Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro) with the Crendon Chamber Orchestra. They are a talented group who play with excellent tone quality and expressive power."Michael Rose
