Recital at St. Michaels Church Wilsford-cum-lake

We are often very fortunate to be able to escape the rush of London and travel around the UK performing recitals at smaller venues in the country. Friday the 22nd October was no exception. We were invited to play for an annual fund raising recital at St. Michaels Church, Wilsford-cum-lake near Salisbury, along with Richard Seal on the organ. We gave a performance of Schubert’s Quartettsatz and Death and a Maiden, followed by Shostakovich’s ‘Elergy and Polka’. The church was full and all tickets were sold out so the atmosphere was buzzing. After the concert, we were all invited to a reception at the Manor House of the village. This was a lovely occasion and a great way to meet the audience.
