Recital at St Marks Artspace in Edinburgh

On September 3rd we had the great pleasure to perform at St Marks Artspace in Edinburgh following an intensive week of rehearsal in the beautiful city. St Marks is a popular Fringe venue in the centre of town nestling just below Castle rock and beside Edinburgh's grand Usher Hall. It is widely used by amateur and professional artistes alike and on arrival we could see why- the acoustic was excellent and the hall itself was a perfect size, airy and high ceilinged without loosing any intimacy. It provided the perfect setting for our evenings programme, Mozart k575 and Beethoven Op 59 no.1, two treasures from the classical repertoire. The concert itself was a success and was followed by a highly enjoyable wine reception where we had the opportunity to meet our appreciative audience.

We would particularly like to thank Mark Bailey of the Edinburgh Quartet for the invaluable coaching session he gave us. We can't wait to return next year!
