Tyburns at Sea!

This summer we were delighted to be invited to perform as part of the Classical Cornucopia on board Fred Olsen's MS Boudicca. We were joined by pianists Wendy Hiscoxs, Robin Zebaida and Soprano Constance Novis for a series of six recitals which included performances of Borodin, Debussy, Shostakovich, Wolf and Puccini. The experience was exciting and quite new for us - as well as performing in constantly changing surroundings (and sometimes quite adverse weather conditions!), we had the fantastic opportunity of seeing the staggering and inspiring beauty of Greenland and Iceland. Our personal highlights were a boat trip to the Narsaruaq Glacier and bathing in the Blue Lagoon!
