Masterpiece of London Festival

On the 2nd July this year, we were honoured to join the Manning Camerata in what can only be described as a music extravaganza!  We performed at the Masterpiece of London Festival, which took place in the grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital. There were four groups in total, and each was situated at different corners of the festival. In our quartets, we performed short works whilst the guests were walking around the exhibitions. The climax of the evening came when we all played the Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings at the same time. Directed by Peter Manning and connected via video link, we came together to create a surround sound, which according to the guests, produced an amazing atmosphere. The whole event was a great success and we all thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it.
