Graduating and our future plans!

Posted on Thursday 30.06.2011

On the 30th June we all graduated as Bachelors of Music. It was a very special and emotional day that saw us reminiscing over the last four years. However, although this may be the end of one chapter, it certainly isn't farewell to the Tyburn Quartet, in fact quite the opposite! During our final months as undergraduates we were approached by Julian West, head of the Open Academy department at the Royal Academy of Music. He has asked us to take part in many workshop and outreach projects during the next academic year and subsequently has invited us to be the Resident Quartet with the Open Academy department starting in September. Education is something that all four of us are extremely passionate about and we are really looking forward to expanding our musical horizons.
