Bobby Moore Celebrity Sports Quiz Launch

On Thursday 27th of May the Tyburn String Quartet played for the launch of the Bobby Moore Fund Celebrity Sports Quiz. The event took place at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. We were delighted to play for such a great cause; the Bobby Moore Fund has a partnership with Cancer Research UK and raises money for research into bowel cancer. The repertoire for this even was very specific – football anthems! We arranged popular football songs such as ‘We are the Champions’ ‘Swing low, Sweet Chariot’ ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ ‘Blue Moon’ ‘I’m forever blowing bubbles’ and even the National Anthem! It was a vibrant event attended by many, including many footballers and celebrities such as Neil Morrissey; the room was decorated with Bobby Moore memorabilia such as football boots, photos and the FA Cup. We thoroughly enjoyed playing for this exciting launch and providing the entertainment for such a prestigious charity.
